Dig stands for Dignity in Growing. Dig originated from the freedom it brought to men experiencing mental health problems. Through maintaining an allotment, working the plot and cultivating the earth to ensure the optimum environment for fruit and veg to grow, this is a way the team have felt spiritually connected to God. God has stirred the workers with the vision that the food grown will be used as a means for feeding the hungry and serving homeless.
Dig meets on Wednesdays at 10am to 2pm, at Rowley Fields Allotment Gardens,165 Meredith Road, Leicester, LE3 2EU. For more information or to get involved please contact Paul on 07721667038 or fill in the contact form below.
